The Henderson Angels is a premier outreach team weekly serving the Henderson, Nevada, homeless population.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches
Over volunteers make fresh peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every Friday afternoon in preparation for our Saturday runs. These, along with our care packs, are welcomed by our friends with much appreciation.
Angel Packs
Our team is currently distributing 40 "Angel Packs" a week. These bags contain water, snacks, 2 pairs of fresh socks, a personal hygiene kit, and a clean hand towel.
The Conversation
While the Henderson Angels are serving a handout, they, more importantly, offer a hand-up. If they are ready to receive help, we load them up and bring them into treatment. We are on a mission to bring 1000 homeless friends into treatment. Some may need more than one trip. It is our mission to be there when they are ready.

Robert Banghart is the director of Community Engagement at Crossroads of Southern Nevada. He also serves as the director of outreach for Shine a Light Foundation, where he plays a pivotal role in helping those in need.
